what's the deal?

ok, i have a real problem, every time i try to shift to second from 8200 rpm's in first gear it won't go in at all, it doesn't grind it just stops. i have had other people drive it and the same thing happens. i took it to the dealer and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. is it my synchro? or could synthestic tranmission oil fix it, or a short shifter. it pissed me off i can't land on the second cam on the 1-2 shift because of it.

If it just stops and doesn't grind, you might be getting stuck on the shift gate for reverse.

so should i angle my shift more to the right or somethin?

Wow, I have never heard of it not grinding. You don't have a short shifter do you?
In any case, you may need to completely change your shifting style. This car is meant to be shifted GENTLY and smoothly. When I first got it my previous car was a z24 cavalier. .... You could just beat the piss outta that gearbox and shove that thing into gear and never hear a sound. Well those habbits carried over to my GT-S....... I had to relearn the 1-2 shift and just concentrate on smoothly poping it down into gear. Try this, just put 2 fingers on the top of the shifter and slide it into gear.. .gently at 8200...... I used to grind my 1-2 almost every time. I changed over to Amsoil synthetic gear lube and changed my shifting style up a bit and now I never grind my 1-2.....
