What's up with this??

Is it just me or does our gas mileage suck in the winter time? The last time I went long driving, which was in Oct., I averaged 32 mpg. Now I've averaging a lousy 26 mpg. What's up with that? And this is highway driving by the way....not city.

In colder weather the car is making more power and more power means it is going to burn a little more gas than usual.

Plus from what I heard winter fuel is different from summer fuel. go figure. I noticed that i lost about 2 mpgs durin the winter compared to the summer.
