View Full Version : New Car Shopping What Do You Think

I'm in the market for a new car being I'm getting rid of my company car Volvo S70. I'm keeping the ZO6 and Celica but need a daily. It's going to be an SUV with all wheel drive. So far I've look at the H2 which really didn't do it for me. The lexus SC300 that also didn't rock my world. The one that I'm leaning towards is an 04 Infinity FX45. It's built on the 350Z and G35 platform, 310 Hp and doesn't handle at all like the other SUV's out there. Any input from you other board members would be appreciated:gap:

The FX is the only SUV I would ever even slightly consider to drive.

They have a fully modified R33 in their inventory, go with skyline and forget about SUV. It's 4WD so its all weather :)
I am still at my old job :( Wish I can make more money with a new one but the job market is not great so I gave up looking for one for now.

I hear the FX45's are pretty nice... I don't know much about them though. They seem like they'd be pretty quick.

hehehe. Porsche makes it.Its twin turbo. 454 HP.
By Blur Imean its too fast to get a pic of. Also handles very well. I personally believe its UGLY!!

Blurred pics? What are you talking about? Of course there are pics of the Cayenne.. the Porsche Cayenne. Been out for a few months already.

I see cayenne turbos almost daily in irvine. Those and hummer h2's. I guess they are the latest trend around here.

How bout the Porsche Cayanne V8 twinturbo awd, autoleveling suspension!
Yeah get the FX45. Not only does it handle well, the interior is top notch=)! Up to porsche standards. I suggest getting the white with willow leather.

Hey J.J,
Have you seen the new H2 SUT that will be coming out soon, very hot looking suv.
go here (http://www.hummer.com/) enter site, click on the SUT in the upper left hand side.
The only down side is that it dosn't come out till spring '04

if you want something that you don't gotta worry too too much about a scratch here and there, why not look into the Nissan Pathfinder Armada. That thing is crazy nice but biiiig. If I buy a SUV within the next couple years, I will probably buy one of these.

Get a tundra or a titan and lift it for the 4 wheeling in the thick stuff:evil:
