my friend is selling his apexi afc vtec controller fo like 100 bucks couple months old. And i was wondering would it able to work on my celica. Cause vvti and vtec are like the same??

vvti and vtec are not the same ;)

Actually you can use it to control the fuel trims on the car like the S-AFC would do but you would not be able to adjust the VVTLi with it like Honda guys do with VTEC.

BTW, I personally think the S-AFC doesnt do jack for the Celica so I say nah :)
