crazy dude in riced out pickup vs gts

I'm on the 5 south in san diego, and I come up on some racing crew or something of riced out autos. There was a prelude, a civic, and two pickup trucks of some sort.

unfortunately, there was also a chp officer driving right next to them. So we all just drove slow until the cop pulled off. Then I sped up a little bit, and just drove at normal highway speed, passing the little racing crew...and not giving them looks or anything.

I'm about 5 cars ahead of them when I notice one of the pickups decides to come after me....so I wait 'til he's even with me and look at his truck, and notice he's got a shift light mounted, and his girlfriend in the car. I downshift into 4th and nail it, and just plain pull away from him until we come up on traffic. I just backed off, not wanting to kill myself that particular day...but he did some crazy weaving in and out of traffic and pulled ahead of me.

I caught up with him and went to pass him, and right as I was about to be in the same space, he pulled in front of me!!!! F#$%'ing a@@hole!!!! wtf was that?!?!? So I back off a bit, and try to pass him again on the other side and he does the same freaking thing!!!! by this time, I was done with this dude, so I just backed off and said the hell with him. we both knew at this point whose car was faster. crazy bastard almost hit me.

is this a normal/accepted riceboy tactic?

That's not even "riceboy" tactics. That's just acting like a prick. You've never heard of like "truck" gangs. Out in Colorado, when I was hanging out w/ my friend, he like would never race w/ any pickups, and everyone would get out of your way. They would seriously tear u up, not for speed, but if u mess w/ them, theyd' all congregate and give u a beat down. So u get out of their way. Whatever he was doing was just ghey though.

Dude, someone did that to me too. This guy revved at me while I was just cruising. So I stepped on it and he cut me off when I stepped on it. I was in my Civic Si, and this Accord knows he can't win, so he cut me off almost hitting me.

What I did was worst than what he did to me. I finally got in front of him, stepped on the brake hard, and I can stop on a dime since I got upgraded brakes and rotors and lines. So he almost rear ended me but he changed lane. I too changed lane where he was and continue on stopping. Well, he was surprised and locked his brake and almost hitting me. I was ready for him to hit me, but I'm not going to let him hit me, so I stepped on the gas again. As I was stepping on the gas, he realize I wasn't hitting the brake anymore, then all of a sudden, I hit it again and he slammed on his brake again. I pulled to the side flip him off and the driver didn't even want to look here, I just flip the passenger off who got a heart attack.

That teached him not to do that again. He didn't even come after me. I've done worst though, when it comes to people cutting me off, I get real pissy. lol. But I don't do that anymore, those were my younger days.

**** like that has happened to me. It wasn't on the highway though. It was a Ricer car club. Riced out slow ass Saturn...riced out older accord, riced out Blazer, riced out Eclipse RS.

Anyways, I lined up with the Saturn and the accord. Light goes green I sit there and wait for the Accord or Saturn to go, they dont. finally the Accord drops the clutch, spins like a bitch, I have a modest launch, pass him when I hit 6 grand HARD. Guy got sooo whooped. Well I was like...cool that fun haha. Well all of a sudden Mr. Ricer Boys pass me and get infront of me. They all take up the three lanes and start throwing BEER BOTTLES at me. ****ing pricks! :mad: None of them hit my car, I just turned off cause I didnt plan on getting my car ****ed up due to some riceboys. I wish I woulda called the cops on them.

That's funny you guys brought up this topic of racing pick-ups. I saw a race tonight between three ricey, ghetto pick-ups of different makes (two were Nissan and one was Toyota). The light turns green and they take off. There was lots of wheelspin but the little primered Toyota ate those two Nissans up! That little sucker hauled! One of the Nissans actually got sideways and almost ende up in oncoming traffic. It was hilarious though. Do those little pick-ups actually have an aftermarket and if so, why?

Yes theirs alot of aftermarket for trucks. I ahve some good friends that hook up their trucks. Why ask why? They got aftermarket for the same reason we got aftermarket....
