RATTLES NOISE!!!! They are back, just to piss me off.... Here see if you guys can figure this one out...
-Only occurs when car is fully warmed up
-When I accelerate to and around 3000rpm
-sounds like "BUZZZZZ" like plastic hitting metal
-Pretty sure is coming from glove box area
-Happens no matter what kinda of road (bumpy or smooth) as long as it around 3000rpm it goes away
-doesn't occurs when car is stop and rev up to 3000rpm (this is what scared me the most)
-Car runs perfectly fine, just piss me off with the noise.
-Buzz noise actually occurred once a few months back, but just 2 days ago it came back.

I have that problem. dealer just fixed it. Its a heat shield or heat sumtin they said. Its bent, & hits sumtin. they just manually bend it back in place.

It's either hitting something or it's cracked.

The good thing is that a friend of my owns a toyota dealer. So having it fix and claim it under warrnty shouldn't be a problem if I really have to. But I kinda feel bad for bothering him for every little thing.
But I will for sure check the heat shield first thing tomorrow morning.
Oh yea, I also read that a loose engine mount could cause rattle too. If so, what are the chances that the engine mount are loose? I seriously don't drive my car hard that often.

Yep is the heat shield above the exhaustt manifold. I can wiggle it around. This morning when I checked, I can move the heat shield in any direction for at least 5mm to 10mm.
So now my question is, where is the bolt that holds it down? I can't seem to see it. Do I have to go in from under?
Thanks

YES!!??!?! I finally found out where the noise was coming from....not from the heat shield, not from the glove box area... is the damn front grill!!!! I got the kaminari kit and the shop attached the grill with the existing screw behind the bumper and there is some slack on the grill itself and it flaps around when the car is moving....
So i took the bumper off and use glue gun to attach the grill on the bumper for good. now noises are gone no rattles.. nothing at all..everything is run and sound smooth...Now i wonder how long can my car keep it up for? :D
EDIT: Altho I did discovered 3 rock chips on the bumper, but what can you do... I drive on the highway everyday to and from work.
