and also make sure that you dont start having problems with bogging or stalling... The neons use an AC transformer and from the pics it looks like they're mounted pretty close to the ECU in the engine bay under the scoop... They can cause RF interference and f*ck with your computer.. if you notice anything diff. then you know whats causing it.. if not then cool...

if u guys think that looks cool, then i guess i better take some digital pictures of my car
i almost broke my back getting the neons under the seats so u get a nice glow and not a ricey look..
like the kind where u can see the neon rods everywhere
my car is a mess right now... i replaced all the speakers in my car.. so now my audio system is finally done... and i must admit it sounds tight
basically went all pheonix gold amps.. infinity kappa subs.. and infinity/cadence speakers
and of course pioneer deh-9200r... organic el display.. best kind of headunits out there

Still waiting for the header.. it shipped but is taking forever.. damn UPS. The new engine is running fine, but I have a CEL at the moment for VVTi problems of some kind. The dealership is fixing it Thursday. Hm... I want a pulley too now. I wonder what I can run with this new engine.

I had it made at Tweeter. This guy let me watch him make it so it was cool to learn how he did it. He used cardboard as his mold then poured fiber glass resin into the mold. He cut a hole in the middle, then wrapped it in grill cloth. To glue it all in place he used a heat glue gun to secure it all in place.

I thought that the computer is right at the passengers left knee where the fuse panel is. it says ecu right on it.

No sir. The ECU is the box in your engine bay that says, "DO NOT OPEN . . . OR A GIANT SWARM OF BEES WILL FLY OUT AND STING YOU IN THE EYES!"
...

Dude, that looks cool. What about rain or water getting into the hood? Wouldn't that ruin the neons???

As long as the rain doesn't magically bust through the neons or wire insulation it will be fine http://www.plaudersmilies.de/winknudge.gif Btw, they are street glow brand neons. They cost more but they are definitely the best quality. With crappy brands you will have problems with them being different brightness than each other and simply not bright enough. Take it from me, I learned the hard way http://www.plaudersmilies.de/wink2.gif
