Alpine type R

Does anyone have the alpine type R's i just bought 2 12's cuz the price was good i got both of them shipped for $315. And they are just sitting here because i dont have an amp yet. But do you guys like them or anything about them? Thanks

That's what I have, they are some Kick ass subs! I hit 148db with a POS amp. and the sound quality is great too, very versitile sub.

kool now to just find an amp...i was thinking about a phoenix gold...i think i will just save and get a really nice amp instead of just getting something to hold me over. Anyone know any thing about the phoenix gold 6600?

Oh crap DaJoker....you have 4? I only have 1 twelve inch powered by rf 500a2 and thas enough for me. Do you have a picture of your set up?

I had some pics of my sub-floor posted earlier, but I don't know if they're still on the board. I'll see if I can take some new pics.

The set-up is a fully custom sub-floor with 4 type-R 12s. It totally slams.
