Need some help, please.

I am 17, and looking to either get a 2000-2001 Celica GT-S or 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Want something that will last me through college and is sporty and reliable. Any suggestion on which car to go for? or any other suggestions?

My opinion; those two are about the best picks out of the litter. I don't think that you could go wrong with either one. The Eclipse has more options as far as mods go (right now).
Fast, economical,sporty,reliable.
The Eclipse may have an edge on the Celica due to mis-shifting problems.
I liked the Celica for several reasons, I like the lift and i don't see one on every street corner.

Around where I live you don't see either. Might have to go with the Eclipse since it is cheaper, and I want to get a sound system for my car, which is an extra 1k. Somewhat low on cash right now.
