My encounter with an LS/RS and Type R sticker

Im heading to work and I pull up behind a Type R, a forest green Type R. So I laugh at her Type R decal because it starting to peel off. The driver, a woman frowns at me and floors it. She isnt going far and I quickly catch up. Theres no spoiler on it either so I assume its a RS/LS automatic. I pull up next her her, downshift and pull away. She tries a riceboy tatic by tailgating me, and I downshift again and she doesnt keep up. The light catches her and I leave her behind.

We should call them ricepeople now because a lot girls are starting to rice out thier cars:D

I, more than anyone, think fake Type R badges are dumb. However, when you laugh at someone like that, they have no idea you're laughing at their sticker. That's why you get the reaction you're getting.

Well I really dont mind the reaction, its the fact that they spend $10 on a sticker and put it on there car to pass it off as something its obiviously not. Thats why I laugh, I would also laugh if someone put a GT-S badge on a GT.:)

It doesn't help with the 'presumption' by other owners that the GTS is slow. Makes me wonder if the stories of Hyundai's and VW's easily smokin' GTS' has anything to do with fakers

EXACTLY! They are ruining our reputation. If I was as mean as my older brother he'd get key'd! even being a fellow Celica owner :eek: ....But I'm not that mean.. LUCKY them :mad:

What's doing more damage to the GTS's reputation than the fakers is the sportshifts. Those are slower than a false badged 5-speed GT. That's why a Hyundai can beat a GTS.

Thats why you gotta tell em straight out.

My friends and I were cruising and saw some guy in a civic hatch with an SiR sticker. We informed him that they don't ship SiRs to the states. We asked him where he got it, he said, "a race shop"

Perhaps the worst bit of Rice (which is a way over used term...IMHO) is this one girl by me. Imagine if you will.

A Purple, 4 Door, 3 Speed Automatic, Dodge Neon Base model

with....

SIR badging on the back, Type R seat belt covers, and last but not least, Japanese Kanji on both sides.

Can't help but laugh at it everytime I see it.

And I've also seen GT's with shopping cart handle-like wings while the rest of the car is all stock...talk about fitting in with the "Looks Fast" thing...

i'm usually just a spectator, i don't post much (i'm chiznarles' gf), but i had to respond to this one. NOT to be an ass, but please DO NOT group dubs with the hyundai's...

i'll be doggin' you like the girl in the green auto LS ;)

lol... my apologies dieselgrrrl, I didn't mean any offense by it. I threw you dubbers in there cause I usually chill with the crew from www.generationiv.com and they were always doggin me & making with ignorant comments about the celi. seems to have calmed down a bit after I beat my buddy's chipped 1.8T (while I was stock) and attended dyno day with them :)
