hid lights

hey guys i have those fake hid xenon lights on my 00 gts the wires keep burnin up or they keep blowing, how can i get this to stop, thanks alot guys

i believe its becuase the bulbs are too damn bright for the setup or they are getting too hot....id just put the stocks back in and do more research on reliable bulbs....do a search for PHILLIPS..not 100% sure

how many watts are the bulbs you are using? get mtecs ive never heard of a single problem with them about melting wires, but they have a life expectancy of under a year. bizzyceligt is right about hids there is no comparison, and it will probably save you money and time throughout the life of your car.

I will sell you my 8000k HID's for $200.00 plus shipping. They are McCulloch brand and have the return wire on the right side for the celica. I bought 4100k kit from Xenondepot.com's GB, needed something brighter.

k, i tried the mtec and they burnted out and ill get back at ya for the 8000k hids, are those the real things and what all has to be done to put them on

is it really true that the MTECS are bright, but have very short life? The dude selling them on ECELICA...ISAAC says that his are still lasting for quite some time....a yr or more? I forgot
