Does anyone have any experiance with changing the stock speakers..is it worth it? Like the door speakers and the back two speakers? I'm considering upgrading my system and my local shop said I should start out with buying new speakers to change these..so what kinda speakers should I get if i change these..also would it be worth it to push these with amps or leave them as are..?

If you change out your speakers you will need an amp to push them, they will not sound as good running off your deck. Get a good set of 6 1/2 components up front and coaxials in the rear. The rear speakers are a ***** to change out and you will most likely need custom brackets. So far I have infinity kappas in the rear off an amp and my stock speakers running off my headunit and it sound pretty good.

Is it true that we don't have too change the back speakers if we get subs powered by an amp in the trunk? Also, is it possible to take out the back speakers and replace them with the stock front speakers? Are they different sizes? I was wondering because my back speakers blew and I was looking to just get aftermarket speakers for the front and take the stock front speakers and put them in the back.

yeah u can do that. im pretty sure in the celica they have 6x9s in the back and 6 1/2s in front. at least that's how my setup was in my camry. u would have to get plates for the back. If you are getting a sub you don't have to have speakers in the back cuz they are kind of pointless. some people like the surround sound, but if you want a more concert like feeling, you want to get a good pair of fronts and a good sub. if you have all four speakers running with a sub it actually cancels out some of the sound.

naw, I know the celica has 6.5s in the back... not too sure about the fronts.

either way, in my opinion it's better to just have front fill especially if it's a 3-way system. You can replace the rear fill at the end if u really like the rear fill.
