Started to rain about midway through the event, so many comparisons will be misleading. Everyone listed in the Pro had pretty much equivalent conditions--light rain before and during our heat. Some non-Pros had a dry course, some had dry then wet, some had wetter than the Pro.

Is it true that there aren't many GTSs that are autocrossed outside the mid-Atlantic area? I think B1mmer said that to me at this last NASA event, and I was surprised....

Only one (in stock) at Nationals last year, from Texas

In the Chicago area we had 2 GT-S Autos start the season. One ended the year 6th in Street Tire the other ended up in the crusher (his son rolled it one night) He finished the season in a Spyder and his wife got a new GT-S 6 speed (she will be taking our school in April)

In 2000 a girl in a GT-S auto came to one event, her boyfreind was in a SM "BIG" Turbo Eclipse. She asked me for help and by the end of the day she was beating her boyfriend (hehe) Neither came back (she probably was not allowed to)

and as of tomorrow, there will be one less GT-S autocrossing in the mid-Atlantic area!

Man, look at those results that Bryan linked! I crushed all the other GTS's except the one that beat me (and the GT that beat me)!

Rain, what's rain?

Oh, wiat, I didn't drive in the rain. I was driving *home* when it rained.

And, yes, there are very few GTS's being campaigned *anywhere*. There's one fellow (MAS) on this board that does well in Colorado, and now that David Fauth has a new car he might do even better! Kind of tough going head to head with David day in and day out.

Preregistration is now open for the first of the 2002 season at VMP.... event will be 3/17 at Virginia Motorsports Park. I know B1mmer and a couple others have committments in NC, but hopefully some others will be able to attend.
