don't have it on my gt-s 6 speed. I have EVERY option, except abs and side air bags... ... I'm so heartbroken too... *sarcasm*

Here is what SCC said about braking in one of their recent competitions and another reason I am glad I got ABS. :)
"...And why those with ABS had a significant advantage. Purists may argue that a sharp driver can beat ABS any day of the week, we're here to tell you that's hogwash. ABS is good. Very good. Modern ABS cycles quickly enough and consistently shortens braking distances enough that, with few exceptions, there's no longer any reason to leave it off your must-have list. Nothing illustrates this fact more than the braking results in USCC.
...Mark Allen's Integra Type R, the car that one this test, stopped from 60 in 117 feet. Not bad, but certainly not record setting by any stretch of the imagination. The last stock Toyota Celica we tested did the deed in 113 feet on street tires. Allen's Integra used Kumho race tires.
...Less thatn one foot behind Allen's Type R was Mani Jayasinghe's Supra, another ABS car fitted with huge tires. Bringing up the end of the field was Tod Kaneko's rotary-powered Datsun 510-a lighter car than the winning Type R. Kaneko's 30 year old Datsun used ultra-sticky Hoosier R3S03 race tires and WIlwood brakes all around, But didn't have ABS. What's that tell you?" Sports Compact Car, March 2002.

I use my abs all the time. I don't know what I will do if i get a car without it ever again.

I don't have it. If I was big into auto crossing I'd want them too :) I'll probably be auto-crossing with my friend next season though.

I didn't have it on either GT-S and I was glad. I learned to drive before ABS was around, so it wouldn't get used correctly anyway, because my reactions burned in are not to push the pedal harder.
It is on my truck though, and I've felt it kick in sometimes when I really jam the brakes. I guess because my truck weighs twice what the Celica does it's a good thing. We'll see.

I dont't have it on my car. But had a "incident" pushing my cars handling in the hills on some twisties at night and skidded a while to stop about 2 inchs from a gaurd rail on a sharp turn. Lucky I knew how to modulate the brakes rather than just slam on them. Made me think about what if I had ABS and how much shorter I'd would of stopped. But I don't regret that I did'nt choose it when I bought my Celica.

its expensive... certainly much more than the 450 dollars the dealer wanted when you got your car... .. .you'd have to buy the hydrolic hardware for rerouting, plus all the sensors and the control unit... my guess is something like 7-800 for hardware + labor
