Hey celi owners,
Just wondering if you girls/guys can set me off with a some good tips in storing your car over the winter. Things I should do to the car while or before put in storage?
It's already been stored since saturday, but since this will be the first time storing a car, I a little unfamiliar on this topic. Please enlighten the inquisitive.
Regards,
Hector

There are probably several threads on this topic if you search but for starters fuel stabilizer is a good idea.

Remove the battery and store it at room temp, fill up the gas tank and as Celicar mentioned adding fuel stabilizer is a good idea.

nothing to do... you think the dealer actually do something special to all the car on their lot during winter?? I don't think so, all the car at the dealer just sit there rain or shine, hot or cold, snow or hail...
but if you really want to waste your time and money, you do the following:
-change oil
-set the car on jack stands
-put a car cover on it
-store it in a garage
-disconnect battery

What fuel stabilizers would you recommend?

dunno what its called or where to start looking, but a few months ago i saw this electronic device for cars that were stored for long periods of time...
you plug it into a wall jack and then attach the device to your cars battery... i think it helps preserve the battery... dunno, seems worthwhile for those who needs to store for winter...
