Getting ready for the snow, are these tires any good in the snow. Are these better than the stock GTS tires for snow? Thanks

I doubt they're any good in the snow, but I'm not going to try and find out.
My AVS ES100s aren't going back on the car for at least 3 months.

The WORST!!! I had the ES100s on my GTS last winter and it was hella nasty...the tires had some wear from autoX and track events over the summer, but plenty of tread remaining. I wouldn't recommend driving your car if there is snow on the roads with these tires...

Did it this weekend. My recommendation.....DONT DO IT! At a dead stop I could just let out the clutch without any gas and I would just sit there and spin. Went right home and ordered some Blizzacks.

I threw on a set of Pirelli WinterSport 210s (205/50R16) for this winter and so far I am pretty happy with them...so, if you are looking for strictly a winter tire I would recommend giving them a shot.
I also have a set of Michellin Pilot Sport A/S (245/40ZR17) on a BMW 330i for rear tires...I don't know if they are available in our size, but I would def. recommend those over anything I have tried so far. We've had 2 snows, both over 6 inches so far this winter and those tires kick azz! I have never seen a RWD car get through the snow and ice so easily.
So check it out...

I've got the ES100s and they suck in the snow. Really, it was suprising how much they sucked.

I got them too and like everyone said...
snow>es100's
Barely had 2 inches on the road and they spun so easily.
