Hi guys,

I don't check in on this board much but wanted to see what you guys are up to lately.....

I saw a few celica's at the ATL autox this past weekend - any of you on here?

There was a nice blue one, that I believe a girl drives there..... I wanted to find out more about it too. Very clean. :)

Also, do Dan (Liquid? I think) and the other GA Tech autox celica's post here anymore?

What about you Marietta guys? We had a lot of fun at little talladega last year.....

The girl in the carbon blue celica is EVA-00... I'm sure they'll all post in here later on. Skatamatic (Cody), Bling (Barry), cbr600mdr (Sorry Duncan I prolly messed that up)... they were all there... Cody won novice, 'Represent'.

Not many of the older people still post Dan does everyonce in a while and Jamie (coolwheels00) has been posting a bit latly, the celicas that were their where all on hear I missed sunday but I was their on Saturday, You talk about Marietta you have probably seen me around I live in Marrieta/ Roswell and go to school At Southern Poly. Their are a few people going to talladega again in a couple of weeks I'm not sure if all spot are filled but check the post about track whores.

Hey Ken, how's it going? I missed the autox this weekend due to some plans I had made before. I should be at the next points event though. Time to get back in the groove and kick some STS ass.. :) Haven't done a thing to the car in awhile, the budget isn't there anymore. Too much other stuff costing money.

Jeremy is still around, he sold his GTS and got an MR-S. He was the guy in the band with the blue GTS. Bill, the guy with the red GTS, is lookin for an s2k now..

We need to get together again, I was just talkin to Jeremy about that today on the phone. It's been awhile... Keep in touch man..

yea, i was there this past weekend at the school and the tuneup day sunday. i had the real dark blue GTS (it looks black). i ended up getting 1st in the novice class so that was cool. hopefully i'll see you around at the events later on, i definately plan on making it out to a lot of them.

Uh oh the next event is 3/10 I know a few of us were going to show our cars at a show at MSP that day, I can't make the race since I am having my wisdom teeth pulled on 3/8 but I will still be able to stand next to my car, hopefully I can make the event after that one.

Blake is still around, he picked up a 90 AWD DSM, and is rebuilding it. Still has the Celica though. Hopefully the DSM will be set by the next autox. I should be there, even though the 10th is the Sunday of our Spring Break. So.. I may be somewhere warmer and sunnier drinking a few cervezas.. :)

Hi! I am the girl with the celica. Thanks for the compliment. I'll tell her she caught somone's eye. She was the spectra blue mica(not carbon blue silly) with the APR wing and she loves attention. I was up there filming my guys in all their glory. I had a lot of fun so you will be seeing me again. Next time introduce yourselves and we can chat. I'm gonna tape them again from the outside this time so we can watch the replays like gran turismo!!:popcorn:

I would've pulled the Celi out of retirement for the autoX but was pretty bad sick... Probably would have brought the GSX out if I'd had the transmission back by then. (anyone care to help put it back in this weekend? =)

Can't wait to see all you guys out in force this year... I want a ride!!

ps. If anyone has a friend that's looking for a 6spd GT-S I'll be selling mine soon... provided the GSX doesn't blow a head gasket/transfer case/differential/turbo/pump (and I thought DSM's were reliable, pfft)

:thumbup: on the gsx. awd + turbo = OMFG!

Would you believe it, I got 3rd in SM? Guess who got 1st and 2nd... A two-driver car: 91 galant vr4! (awd+turbo dammit) lol It's gonna be a long season..... ;)

Man, I can't decide whether to run in SM or ESP...

If the turbo goes south this season I'll replace with a 16G... bump to SM. I also can't put a boost controller on in ESP.

Might go into SM just to have some competition I know =)

What's up Ken? I'm still here lurking around on occasions, just don't post much.

I traded in the Celi on a '00 MR-S about a week ago. I've missed the mid-engine, rear wheel drive. I had a '91 MKII before I got the Celi, and I regret getting rid of it.

Now that I don't have a "significant other", I should be able to do more mods than I did with the Celi.

I went up to Brasstown yesterday & tested out the Spyder in the twisties..........handles great! I'm going to be setting up another trip probably the middle - end of march. I'll be sure to post here when we do so we can try and get a big group to go.

I also want to setup a trip to Deal's Gap for the summer.

Remember about 1 1/2 years ago when we all first met? I had just gone through the roughes breakup right before thanksgiving..... :( I know I didn't show it.....

We hang out at Bill's just about every Friday. He bought WRC Rally Championship for the Xbox today, so I'm sure we'll be playing that this weekend. We've been playing HALO alot lately. Link up a couple of Xbox's and have up to 16 people playing.

No, it wasn't me. I actaully change my oil myself. When I get dealer work done I go to the mall of georgia toyota. I like their customer service and I know a couple of the guys that work in the TRD shop there. I wouldn't mind meeting up some time though. One of my friends in phase seven (Cody)is coming over today to change his oil and prep his car for the autoX tomorrow. Maybe a couple other members will come over too and we might have a cookout. Maybe you can come by.

That May have been Jamie (CoolWheels00) I know he was just over there, How do you like the service at Marietta Toyota I get most of my service done there as well since its right next to school they normally will drive me to school when I drop it off. They are pretty cool, I even got a free oil change last time I was up there.

Probably wasn't me. I went there to have the paint on my front bumper checked out. As for service, I'm with Rox. I take it to Mall of GA Toyota. Marietta tried to sell me a stolen/wrecked GT-S as a new one. I don't trust them.

Wow I wouldn't have expected that of them, I had no problem buying my car from them, I guess everyone has different experiences.

Yeah, you don't rember that story? I test drove a white GT-S 6 speed there when I was shopping for my car. I went on the drive and asked why it had 1100 miles on it. The guy said that he didn't know. I told him to find out. So he goes inside, comes back out and says to me that the car had been bought (stolen) buy a guy who gave all false info. They found him a week later in FL. The back bumper had been hit. It was still on the "new" lot

Wow that sucks, I've always wondered why cars are on the new lot with over 1000 miles on them, When I bought mine it only had 3 miles on it so I doubt I had been ripped off but obviously someone out there was, I did test drive an eclipse with 1400 miles on it but never asked why so many miles.
