The quarter window pillar are on the back seat area is creaking real bad. It's a metal creak sound. Anyone fixed this problem yet?

I have heard of a lot of people with the same noise. Mine does it sometimes. I don't think there is a way to fix it.

My phucking dealer said they couldn't duplicate the problem, I told them to phuck themselves.
Do you want to buy another Toyota?

Funny thing! you mention it, I have these faint creaking sounds when the chassis is twisting.
Perhaps I should open up the inner plastic. Anyone know how?
Didn't someone post here some time ago about cracked C-pillars? I recall that they had them "repaired" somehow and that it was more than one person to have this issue.
Anyone?

I remember hearing about this but I thought they were impossible to repair or something like that. It was a while back.

Yeah, I heard about some people whose was cracked but dealer is not willing to replace the whole car just for that.
So I think I will need instructions on opening up that are to see for myself.

I think I have the same noise. Not loud enough to complain about, though. I'll take some pics of the area when I get home (my car's trunk panels are all taken out).

FYI,
I have the same issue with my '01 Celica GT... I have been hearing this creaking/knocking sounds for the past 9 months and it is loud. The sound is caused by defective weld(s) or missing welds from the factory above the right rear pullar causing the panel to separate and rub against each other. If you take your car into Toyota, they will have to take out all of the panels in the trunk and the rear seats. They tried two different methods to fix the problem - glueing and bending the panels back into place. What it comes down to is that I should not have to suffer because of a manufacturing problem and 28k is a lot of money to me.
I have taken my car to three different dealerships over the course of 9 months and Toyota still has not fixed the problem - long story. I am taking Toyota to Arbitration...
BTW, there was a person on celica.net, that won his arbitration against Toyota. I will try and attach the link.

Hope that helps.
