I was surfing the Internet this morning and I came accross this great website that teaches you how to drive a stick shift and tells you all about how manual and automatic transmissions work. It has lessons and videos going over all the points of driving a stick, from gentle launches to downshifting, double-clutching, and-Heel to-Toe. Please sticky this it is a great resource for any new members or existing members that want to learn how to drive stick or sharpen their skills.

kinda funny that guys teachin you how to shift and he bounces the limiter in the last vid..

That's usually what someone says right before they downshift from 5th to 2nd. :chuckles:

i'm going to some racing school in april thats in Arizona (Bob Burnet or somthing) its a 4 day school and you get to learn heel toe and whatnot on corvettes, gonan be fun.

Useless...I don't have the mind that learns via pics. I have to learn in real. You'd be amaze how many driving schools do not teach you how to drive stick. All the schools I've called only have autos.
