So yeah I just drove my girlfriends car across the country from California to Delaware. I drove the entire way myself and 90% of it alone (unless you count the cat). So I took a few pics along the way :)
1st pic is a picture of my average speed from California to Lincoln Nebraska. The speed limit is 75 out there then drops to 65 East of Lincoln, NE.

This pic was actually taken before my drive when we had been in Tahoe for the weekend a month prior but its relevant :)

The Salt Lake Flats which are amazingly flat. I swear you could see as far as you could see perfectly flat and nothing.
larryd

YAY, WYOMING!
larryd
12-16-2003, 08:52 AM
The absolute nothingness of Wyoming.
larryd
12-16-2003, 08:52 AM
YAY, NEBRASKA!
larryd
12-16-2003, 08:53 AM
And more nothingness in Nebraska.

didn't know that you had access to another gts. so, what does she have done to the car or should i say what did you do to her car.
driving coast to coast is something that everyone should do at least once. my wife, my then girlfriend drove from nyc to san diego 4 years ago and it took us 7 days stopping to take it the sites everyday.

That was weak, Larry! :fawk:
I left Gainesville, FL at 3:00am Sunday, and arrived in Seattle, WA at 9:45pm on Tuesday. Just a tick over 4000 miles. (I went I-10 to I-5 to avoid snow conditions).
Here are a few pics from my adventure....
