New Celicas Are Slow!

Why on earth are the new celicas so slow? I cant believe it but I have a 3SFE with just minor mods. Custom CAI, Custom 2.5 exhaust with OBX muffler, New NGK plugs and NOLOGY wires. But I raced a GTS yesterday the faster model of the new celicas and just ate him up I hit 3rd gear and had him by 5 Cars I was like crap man Im done with him. I know he was racing me because when he hit his third gear I heard his tires spin a lil bit. He told man I had it to the floor I just couldnt keep up. WTF. He has a ECU upgrade, Apexi SAFC, CAT BACK EX., CAI, Plugs and Wires. AND TO TOP THAT OFF its a 6speed. Whats up with that. I mean even a dude in a GT raced and I let him drop it to second off a 45 MPH roll and He couldnt leave me and I left my car in 3rd and didnt even all the way floor it. To me the new celicas are just a PIECE. Get a faster car like a 4th gen or up to a 6th. 7 Gens just to slow for my taste. I would hate to race one with my 4th Gen GT with a 3RD gen WRC 3SGTE and a SW20 trans. WOOO I would just make him look like Im going a 100mph and he is going in REVERSE!

This is gonna go OT real quick. Obviously, you don't know jack about this car to list the crap you just did. ECU upgrade?, CAT BACK exhaust? WIRES?!?!

1st off, only ECU upgrade for the GTS, would be the PowerFC, other than that NON-EXISTANT, 2nd, no bolt on catbacks exist, 3rd, the 7th gen celica has no plug wires.

Amazing, so he has an ECU upgrade that doesn't exist, an SAFC that doesn't work on the GTS and you wouldn't even use with an ECU upgrade anyways, and spark plug wires which the Celica doesn't even use.

Try to at least get your facts straight before spamming the board, Troll.

Ok idiots. FOR ONE I AM going buy what the mexican guy said he had. He could have been lying but obviosly I seen the INJEN intake and the Custom CATBACK exhaust with a N1 muffler. He did have the APEXI SAFC in the car if it was hook up or not owell.

Ya The 3SGTE celica wieghs 2280 and the 3SFE wieghs 2360 so um Ya Im lighter and Im faster the 3SFE is the one running the 14.8@108 Come get some all you ricers. If you want the competition race my 3SGTE it was stock sitting at 260HP and now its sitting at roughly 410hp at the least. 1/4 times on that one is 11.5@123 tops out around 160 I believe... Come get some! And if you can beat it I will just do some more tweaking and you will be eating my ass.

So the lightest specs I could find on a Celica GT was 2,674lbs and an All Trac Turbo weighs in at a whopping 3,272lbs.

lol a old celica GT 3SFE weighing 22xx lb HAHA now thats funny. Umm and about a 3sgte version. wow you have an engine swap. We don't. if i am not mistaken stock USA 3sgte only got 15.x in quater mile. Come on get a life. Yes the 3SGTE are fast and great motors, but the old school celica body isn't. I would own one in a heart beat but nothing can compare to our light weight design. And there is a celica on this board that has a 3sgte swap also he would eat you alive unless you have the awd version but you said you have the sw20 tranny which is i think a mr2 tranny so i am going to say it is a FF car. More more thing if you are telling the truth the guy could not drive or you are is faster then a 14.8 in a quater mile. intake exhaust 00-01,03 6spd gts celica get low-mid 14's
