I got an Injen Short Ram installed about a month ago and the CEL keeps going on then off about a couple days later and so on. So I check under the hood and I see a tube that is not connected to anything on one end. It goes to the engine block on the other. I looked under the hood of a celi with the stock air box and that same hose goes from engine block to bottom of the stock air box. But when I look around the short ram there's no place for it to go that i can find. Anyone know what to do or should i have it checked out?

That tube that goes to the engine block needs to be plugged. It does not get reconnected so you have to plug the little tube coming out of the engine block.

pull the hose off and plug it at the engine block with a little nipple thing

Here is a pic of my install. Notice the piece of tube that I cut and plugged the nipple from the engine with. It's just a piece of the tube that was already connected there and then i used a screw to plug tyhe tube. Voila..problem solved!

i've plugged the whole tube before, but the engine slows down to lower rpms...is this bad? When i release it, it goes back up, but when i plug it again it goes back down...
