What kind of non-stock shifter knobs do you GT-S 6-speed guys use? I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks.

I think TRD ( or custom) are the only ones that will screw onto the stock shifter threads

What I'm looking for is, a knob that has a metallic look with any type of red trim and has the 6-shift diagram on it. I looked at the OBX site and they looked good, except that I'm not sure about the fitment. What do you guys think?

I have a Razo. It's a little large at first but I love the straight body style.Good luck finding many shift knobs with the 6sppd pattern on them!I would sudjest searching on ebay-most knobs come with an internal adapter piece that allows them to screw on most threads

I had this one installed:

But found the Stock one to feel better when shifting and have been using it instead

Nevertheless, for Quality and Design

I'm really in need of a shift knob that has the 6-spd diagram on it.

Anyone has one of those?

If not, then I guess I'm sticking with my stock knob...

my razo came with 3 inserts to change the diameter of the inside and then screw on.Greta fit and finish.I have the knob in a link earlier but if you want just ask and I can post a pic of it installed-I'm at work right now otherwise I would just do it.

I've had two RAZO counterweighted knobs in my Celica. Both have been fantastic and I love them. The heavier knobs add a nice positive shifter feel between gears. The current 340g knob I'm using is perfect for me.

I used to use this one:

...but the dang thing would get blazing hot during the day if you leave the car in the sun. RAZO has an optional carbon fiber plate for the top with the proper 6-speed pattern.

bought a toyota matrix 6-spd knob. It's all black leather, like the celica but has a chrome strip going down one side. it has the 6-spd diagram up top and was the major selling point for me.

Hmmm... the Matrix knob sounds interesting. Where did you get yours from?

just wondering why the 6sp diagram is so important?

Sometimes I go to places with valet parking etc, and get uneasy whenever someone else drives my car knowing that they don't handle 6-speed manuals too often (just my paranoia setting in. lol). I don't like the idea that the person may shift into reverse instead of first gear and stuff like that.

Oh well, such is the life. lol

I would be a little more concerned with them not knowing where reverse is rather than shifting into it on accedent, but then again don't let anyone drive my car (except my wife when I've been drinking)

Is that stock shift boot leather by any chance? My 03 GT shift boot is like this faux leather ****, its terrible.
