unbolted exhaust questions

Hey guys ....my GT-S is currently has no exhaust and it has a custom pipe to extend out to the rear bumber... What do I loose or gain out of it without an exhaust ? Do I loose power ? eats more GAS ? Also.. Im thinking to get a tip to make the sound more deeper....suggestions please.....

sounds like you are approaching the "RICE" line...better be careful. Get a real exhaust, not a pipe with a "Tip" I beg of you!

You will notice MODEST gains form adding an exhaust, and SLIGHTLY better gains from un-bolting. It's God Awful loud though!

I was thinkin bout unbolting just to cheq it out, but how loud is it?? is it an automatic ticket if a cop rolls by? Aw who cares, Ill try it ne wayz just for sumthing new. Man i need an exhaust! :D

sorry to say but its illegal to be running unbolted exhaust. but who cares!! ahahahaa..j/p
seriously unbolting your exhaust is illegal but youll be gaining alot of noise and noticeable performance. ive experienced no loss in torque when i was running unbolted.
