Help...Lookin' for someone to install my TRD Springs. Liquid Silver had his installed at Pann Auto, said he's pretty happy with the work. Anyone else have there springs installed at either two. Your input is greatly appreciated!
Bat
Hey Bat,
Watch out for Pann auto. One of my friends got some stuff installed there on his civic....later that night it was stolen out of his garage and every single thing that was installed was stolen off of his car..A few things no one could have known about unless they installed it (ecu). And yes they did have his address on his order sheet.
I've also heard a few rumors about them taking their customer's cars to the races, it was a friend of a friend so can't be sure about the rumor..

Thanks for the heads up. I've heard good and bad about them. Any other suggestions?

Josh: I think you are talking about the Pann auto in National City or somewhere farther south. There are two shops with the same name. Pann in National city does engine swaps and such. The other pann auto doesn't do any major work like that.
Bat: Pann auto in Kearny Mesa off Ronson Rd. is a good shop, at least IMO. They did my rear springs for me and did a good job. That is the same shop that did TRDliquidsilvers. You can take it there and I think they will do it for 70-80$. If you want to pay me a lot less $ I will do it. I have done my own(twice) and have done Nico's. Its up to you but Pann does good work too.

Bat,
I know Jnsd and his name is Josh. He told me the story about his friends civic and it is the other pann auto. The Pann auto in Kearny mesa is totally different. They did my car and didn't have any problems. They also sell all kind of parts at really good prices. If you want a shop to do it good and at a decent price you can take it to them. Good luck.

DO IT YOURSELF!! I would do it for you if I didn't live 12+ hours away. I would even do it at no charge. I have done 3 Celica installs. The last one took me 2 hours by MYSELF. With someone else helping, it would probably be a lot faster. ;)

That would cost more than the install itself. I will be down there on March 1st and 2nd though. I probably won't have time to do any installs though. I am just driving to pick up my car and drive 12 hours back home. Maybe we can have a mini-meet while I am down there. That would be tight.

Bat, dont waste your money mysellf and I am pretty sure Takeoff can hook you up. I have done alot of the suspension mods from springs to teins and hotchkis parts as well most of which with takeoff. Its not hard at all. I cant speak for Takeoff but I am willing to help out any celi or any car owner with installs for far less then any shop. And I do have mechanical back ground. so let me know if anyone needs my assistance.

Glad to here you got your springs and are happy with them. Loosing my springs for the Ha's. Already on order and hopefully here soon. (maybe in a week or two) Takeoff and I are going to try and do a install guide for the Teins & Hotchkis front strut bar. (requires a small mod to work together which we found out doing Takeoff's) I also have on the way The TRD rear strut bar and the enrgy suspension bushing kit on order. Maybe we can try to do a install guide for the bushings also.
