Just got OWNED by an old lady

I was driving home earlier and and old lady just ran into the side of my car trying to avoid a truck that stopped infront of her. I was so mad when I saw the damage. Looks like it is going to be in the shop for awhile, she smashed my drivers side door and rear fender. Need to get some estimates in a couple of days, any know around how much money it will cost to repair this? Doesn't really matter since her insurance is going to pay. I am just mad that a drove a POS for so long with no accidents and I bought my 03 a few months back and already got into an accident.

Take it into a your body shop or a reputable one in your area and have them give you an estimate.

Looks like your side skirt may be damaged, chipped, or scratched too

Hopefully nothing on the inside of the door, speaker, wiring, etc. etc. wasn

yea, ive had my 03 for less then a year. and ive got a $7000 accident on it already....cuz of stupid drivers....

I can't really tell but it looks like the top of your side skirt is scraped.

The side skirt is okay it is just dirt because it has been raining. Got a estimate at a local body shop and it was like $2300 which included a new door skin, rear fender, gas cap, molding and pinstripes. The ladies insurance adjustor wasnt there today so I have to wait for them to get an estimate because I doubt they will want to replace everything with new parts.

her insurance company is going to want to bang that out. I got hit twice (both rear quarterpanels) and I wasn't even in the car either of those times. I gotta estimate that high, all my parts were re-used, not new unfortunately. but no one can tell, not even me, that it was hit. and i'm a picky bastid. good luck man

Man...old people need to stay off the road. Well not all old people. They need to take a harder test to renew their license..but then again i think the test needs to be harder considering half of the people i encounter on the road can't drive worth of $hit. I told myself that I will never be a cause of an accident and that it'll be someone else's fault when I get into one. Knock on wood...

Damn Oli that is almost identical to mine. I am having problems with the insurance. The lady sent her check in late so they are investigating if she was even covered by the insurance. I should find out by tuesday. Good luck with your claim.

Sorry to hear that. Glad everyone is okay. At least your rim didn't get damaged and you have a reason to get a TRD clear glass door lid :)

I would try to see if they will replace the whole door shell and not just the skin. It's a ***** to get a new door skin on straight. Even for the best bodyshops. Just my .02
