Okay sounds dumb but I wanna it attached so when it get stolen my insurance covers it.

I have mine anchored to the floor of my trunk. It requires drilling. I dont have a digital cam or I'd give you some pics. However, the part used should be available from auto sound specialists... thats who put mine in. ITs a piece of metal that bolts to your body and has more bolts coming out the top. You attatch a hook or something to your box and bolt it to the anchor. I had to anchor mine down. It would have been flying all over the place the way I drive. Thats a good point about insurance though.

Maybe you can use the bolts/holes for the tied-down hooks in some manner. You may have to relocate the box some to do this.

if you take the plastic out where the box sits there is a metal support that runs through there. all i did was screw my box to that with an l bracket i got at the hardware store. there are quite a few holes in the support beam or you can simply drill your own if you can't find one where you want.
