and replace it w/a momo has anyone done it?
what is the proper momo hub?

no airbags racing seats/3 point harnesses etc

cars used to come without them. and besides those things do more damage then good.

You'd be the wiser to keep the airbag. I don't like the idea of them either, but show me the crash data of your make, model and year both with and without the airbag... You cannot. Neither can I. They are there for a reason. I just spent $800 to purchase the Japanese Domestic Market MOMO steering wheel for my ITR. It has SRS.

BTW, you've committed a felony by tampering with the SRS. You have NO insurance. To be injured and then go and "correct" the condition of the car is also fraud. This, too, is a felony.

It's not worth it. I like the feel of the Celica wheel. Honda should have sent the North American car with the JDM/Rest of World steering wheel.

Care to explain that? I don't think it was the airbag that ejected him. There is something called the Coefficient of Restitution, equal and opposite forces and the fact that he couldn't have been wearing a seat belt caused his ejection...

i prefer to have my airbag too. after thoughtful consideration, i decided not to remove the steering wheel. although, i WOULD like to replace the center hub. any ideas on how that could be done?

Well, the center hub that you have is needed to mount your current steering wheel on. If you change or modify it you'll need another wheel ~$800.
