I am posting this so it doesn't happen to you guys. When you buy a car in CA and it has a personal license plate...customize plates. You need to get the owner to sign a Customize plate release form or DMV will not transfer the car to you. I waiting ****ing 2 hours in line at DMV and when I got there, they said I couldn't register the car unless the owner signs off the customize plate release form. I was like WTF!!!???? Spend another 2 hours looking for the guy who sold me the car and then another 2 hours this morning back in DMV to register the car.........just a heads up so it doesn't happen to you guys.
