Is there a carmax near you? I work for one here in Baltimore, I know for more rare, expensive cars like that they give decent appraisals. And you don't even have to buy one of our cars!

Yep, if they offer you an amount you feel is reasonable to sell it for, then you sign the title over to them, and they cut you a check.

Just walk in, see a salesperson, and they'll help you out. Not to say that this is guaranteed, but I would maybe try to make them think you have interest in another car there, in hopes that maybe carmax would give you a higher appraisal with the thoughts you will also be purchasing their car.

Just my thoughts...good luck!

Nice car... but can't you get a brand new Evo for about $26-27k before tax and fees from the dealer? Sucks to buy a car and sell it the same year, you're going to take a beating.

no you can't :) that's what people say but there is/are very few people that walk out of a dealer ship and pay invoice, which is 27,092. most people pay MRSP or a few hundred below MSRP

but my car is prepped for someone who wants to have a 500hp street monster!

Seems like the people in Evolutionm.net's been getting some good deals from the dealer.

I thought your car is stock? How's it prepped for 500hp?

the drivetrain can take up to 500hp with the clutch kit i have installed :)

costs a bundle for the clutchkit and the install, so that's saving you some money right there...

the MR is due out 2005... very sexy :drool:

nah i have a black truck (2002 dodge ram quad cab with 20s and leather that i paid a little over 30000 for ) that im trying to get rid of..... when i was 17(im 19 now) i took teh truck (with about 30 miles on it) to one of my friends partys and needless to say some **** kicked in the side and pissed my gas tank THE DAY AFTER I BOUGHT IT so i cant sell it now and im so sick of looking at that 600 a month pos and that made me never want to see another black car again and its a bitch to keep clean :) but if i can get money soon i might consider.....man your car is clean i want it :( (if i can sell my celica soon it might be a possibility)
