read about it today that they are making a "top" model for the eclipse, which gonna be the GTS model. It has 10hp more and upgraded stereo and bigger wheels. that's all folks, so dont be calling it "rice" when you see a GTS emblem on a eclipse haha

till is says turbo and weighs about 300 lbs less.....I could care less about the Eclipse as a real import contender.

I wouldn't say that as far as an import contender. 300lbs less for a sport compact contender, definately. 10 more HP won't make much of a difference on that boat.

I could care less. I am only interested in cars that weigh less than 2600lbs.

yeah.. the downfall of that car was after the '99 models.. otherwise.. i think theyre one of the nicest cars out there.. LarryD's is sweet a$$..

yeah i saw the thing in person at the CHI auto show. It's got different wheels (not bad looking) a different front (reminds me of... well i dunno it's alright) and some ugly chrome taillights. The guy at the mitsu section didn't pop the hood on the car but said that the engine now benefits from a ram-air style intake... anyway i didn't care much for the car cuz i had a much better time staring at the evo 7 in the corner.

oh, and the evo 7 was sitting on the showroom floor while the "mighty" oz rally edition spun on a turntable.

hi djm221.. do u know what an eclipse is??.. what i said wasnt that complicated.. take yer time and read it again if u have to.. and so what if it looks stock.. the cars original design is cool enough.. its what he has under the hood that counts.. and chill out..
