Anyone interested in the Stafford Fabrication fuel rail, there is a group buy currently in progress right now. Check out the GB forum of NewCelica.org if you are interested it it. The price of $150 plus $10 shipping was great but Mike has agreed to do a GB for $139.99 which includes shipping.

SFpower if you could please explain the details on the advantages of this fuel rail it would be greatly appreciated.

I think I will pick a set up for my Spyder...

Fuel Rails have many advantages:
* Helps Maintain Injector Alignments
* Keeps the Distribution of Fuel Equal on All Cylinders
* Has Better flow
* Less Likely to Warp under extreme conditions
* Bling Bling Effect
* Makes your Sig Longer :)

Hope that helps a bit until Mike can jump in.

this fuel rail was designed with forced indution and no2 in mind.

the celica has a non-returnline fuel system so there is no presure/vacume refrance for fuel pressure ,so for every pound of boost you lose a pound of fuel pressure.it also has the fuel feed line at one end of the rail.this cuases a fuel presure drop on injectors at the far end of the rail due to the injector pulse , the factory rail also recesses the injector into the rail which causes additional abstruction to the fuel flow

this new fuelrail returnline capability for those using forced induction w/larger injectors and engine management. this rail is 1/2 inside diameter and it is directly over the injector eliminating any absturction of fuel flow. it also has a center feed fuel line so no injector is ever starved of fuel.
when using no2 you have to take fuel from the feed line this reduces the avalible fuel for the injectors,couple that with the restictions and small feed line at one end of thefactory rail and you've got a lean condition in cylinder 4 .this rail has an 1/8 inch guage port in the middle of the rail which can be used as a no2 fuel supply .and because it is a center feed w/ more avalible fuel for injectors you can rest easy knowing you only have to tune the no2 because the injectors will continue to deliver fuel consistantly.

Now all you need to do is boost MRS's :D

If someone would bring one to me, im sure i would be able to produce a kit.

Actually, i was looking for the new lotus...... But the MRS will work for now.

Darkstar is a really good condidate for the MR-S and I'm sure I can find an Elise. Can you imagine that... 2000 lbs with a 2ZZ-GE that is turbo charged. That would be sick. I think someone in my team has one ordered. We'll see.

Someone from my Team will be getting it in the next year or two.

MRS + Turbo = YEY!

do these bolt right up or do you have to make custom brackets

They bolt right up without any other modifications..

I have one already, sitting on the table next to my LSD. It will go on my new turbo setup. Im so happy that Stafford is local for me. I can throw a rock from my house to his shop and almost hit it. Well not that close but 5 miles is better than 102 to XS

must be nice, i just hope my kit is working 100% before stafford flys the 3000 miles back home :)

I have one waiting to be installed on monday on my n/a GT. So I will tell everyone if I notice a difference or not. (I'm thinking not, but you never know!) I know it will help me when I hook up my fuel pressure gauge, and if/when I get a turbo setup, and it might help out depending on the nitrous setup I get.

But what I can tell you guys is that design and craftmanship on this thing is awesome, Mike did a killer job. Everyone I've shown it to has been impressed.

How hard is it to install one yourself?

I don't think it would be too hard if you've played with fuel systems before. Myself, on the other hand, I've never done any fuel system work, so I will be bringing it to my shop... just to be sure.

But really, all you have to do is go to toyota to pick up 4 new O-rings (they go for a whopping $2.50 EACH!!) Take off the old rail, remove the stock fuel line from the hardline coming out of the firewall (which Stafford says should be as easy as pressing two tabs and pulling it off) Then get a line to go from the SF rail to the hardline! Done!

I'll be posting some pics of the process in performance mods once mine is installed.

Did you notice any difference being N/A?

He already posted a review on the fuel rail in Performance Forum.
He said that he did notice improvements... But I doubt this would give any HP gain on NA car not sure if it makes any improvements on torque or anything... Basically this thing is suppose to make it safer, being that its center feed so no cylinder will be lean with fuel.
However I can be proven wrong if Mike would do a NA base run without fuel rail then 2nd run with the fuel rail at dyno shootout :D
Who knows maybe better fuel distribution = cooler engine (no lean cylinder) = better performance = HP gain or torque gain

Yeah, here's the review:
http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=118855

I did notice a difference, but it is slight... don't be expecting a HUGE improvement. But there is an improvement.
