the best MA meet in 2004

OK everyone... i know all the NY peeps say if I am going to have a meet in MA this year, its needs to be really good and fun. well i found something and i want you guys and girls to come up here! (even the non-celica drivers too!) today at work i was sent a link to www.mazdarevitup.com and i remember last year they had this at Gillette Stadium with Mazda 6's. I wanted to do it last year but the waiting list was way too big!! So this year they are doing it with the new Mazda 3's and there are plenty of open slots available.

So i was thinking how awesome would this Mazda auto-X event would be for a meet??? and even give us all a chance to see who is the best driver in the NE is too ;) i signed myself and Krysy up for the May 22nd event in Boston. i posted this up in her clubs forums too and so far we have one of her members going with a boosted civic. this should be a really good time!

now its time for all you NE'ers to step up and get your as$es to MA for this! if you want to know exactly what event and time we signed up for, PM me. and sorry greg, i dont think you can do this. gotta be 18 years old. but you can still show up for the meet!

once agin greg..did you not read this post AND the website in its entirety.....

you can come for the meet/show, but you couldnt compete or drive anything that day as you have to be 18 to compete or test drive. and most of us that will go to this will register to compete, in which we wil have a full days scedual of classes,professional instructions, and track time

and i highly doubt anyone will want you tagging along in a car if thats even possible. the goal is to have the quickest time. added weight of another body in the car will increase the time, which is not good.

dood...just a lesson to ya....caravanning is the LAST thing to worry about right now....this meet is so far away from now, that is somehting you plan 2-3 weeks before the event.

this is just a rough idea of whats gonna hapen that day....no big plans yet....stil in the rough stage....as the time gets closer to the event...THEN ask about that.

this thread will be dead LONG before anyone cares about caraanning enyways...lol

well i wish my apartment was big enough to house all the participants coming to this event, but unfortunately its a very small 18' x 20' studio and gets crowded with more than 3 people in it. plus my landlord is a pushy portegee who doesnt like "parties" :(

there are 6 hotels within 5 mins of my apartment and im thinking the best thing would be for the out of staters to get a few rooms. especially with some of the NNRC girls coming up and the way they party! ;) you guys might want to stay around for that :D there are a few bars around my area we could hit up and then continue the party at the hotel and just rip it up!!!

i checked on orbitz.com and the least expensive one is at the Days Inn for $55/night. not too bad and im sure if you looked on more of the travel sites you could probably find a little cheaper (i live in Milford, MA if you want to check the other sites). i just want you guys to finally come to a good MA meet and have a blast!!! i cant wait for this! :D

I did this last year. It was alot of fun. Esp there little gocart things. They flew around a track they had set up for it. They had a small arcade too, and all the games were for free. I played a few games of golden t 2004. I have no idea where this base is.
