Alright boys.. and gals.. If you know me or read any of my posts, I have been through a great journey in deciding on a kit. My needs are .. must be agressive and beautiful all the way around. I'm picky. I do not want to piece it together.
So here are the 2 I can't decide between..
VEILSIDE
I fell in love with this kit at first site. There is nothing on it that I don't like. I love it all the way around.. and to this day I still go back and keep this kit in mind.

TRIAL KIT
I don't care to much for the rear, but I guess I can live with it. Also, keep in mind that I am NOT.. let me repeat myself.. NOT getting that spoiler, cause that is just down right UGLY. I'm gonna get the tie-fighter wing.

I want your opinions.. your comments.. advice.. warnings.. pros... cons ....... everything. I need to be pulled one way or the other.. then I can get my kit.

TRIAL looks awesome! I'd go for it.
Seems to me that you could get tired of the Veilside sooner.

TRD:thumbup: , but if you are in love with the Veilside kit, I'd say go with that one, that way you wont regret it later.

Definitely the second one, the trial kit or whatever its called.
The veilside kit just seems too much to me. Too bulbous and kinda disturbs the cars essence and makes the bottom of the car not match the top.
But yea definitely paint that black backing part the same color as your car.

THat is the ugliest rear end that I have ever seen...whats up with those heinous wheels? Lauren, get the Veilside...its what you want, so get it.

What the hell? Kaminari? TRD? Those weren't options. **** those kids. They are so ugly.. so plain and so not me. I like the aggressive, bling bling.. "can't miss my car" look. I'm all about show too.. it's gotta look good, or it ain't goin' on my car..
A friend of mine has the Kaminari kit.. I don't like it. Looks good on his car, fits him.. just ain't my thang.
TRD.. you got to be kidding me.. That is the ugliest kit I've ever seen.
VIS RACING.. is crap in my opinion. I wouldn't waste my money. I have a friend in Tucson.. who has a VIS Racing kit on his car.. and it looks like crap. It doesn't fit correctly.. and his paint job sucks as well. Oh well.. guess it depends on the shop.. but none of them have caught my attention.
I'm picky.. It's got to catch my attention.. and it's down to these two. I'm stuck.
Like I said.. oodolbyoo, The rear of the TRIAL kit is just hidious. It doesn't even look like a rear to a body kit, ya know what I mean.. but if I did end up getting it, I would definately take DaksGT and a few of the others advice, and paint the black part silver.
ND4SPD.. ttt? What? You make no sense.. ya lost me.. sorry.
I got the trial kit pictures off this website.. http://www.trial.co.jp/original/tryaero/new.htm
Another thing to keep in mind is that.. the TRIAL kit is JDM.. straight from JAPAN baby.. so it's more expensive.. and the likeliness of someone having that kit is slim. I don't even know how much it is? Anyone know.. link me? DaksGT- You said you'd look for me baby.. find anything good?

I like the Trial Kit, but I do agree with you that the rear is hideous. If I didn't know better, it just might be uglier than Camry2000. Why are you not going to piece a kit together? It would look so good with the Trial front/sides and a different rear valence.
I would say Veilside IMHO, the second kit just isn't as eye catching. At least if you compared those to cars, I would definately say who is in the first car? Second car, who cares...but that is just my opion.

Hey hon, I know I talk to you or see you almost everyday, but for the record, I am gonna post and say I like the Trial kit better, but definitely like everyone said, with a different back end!
I know you didn't want to mix and match at all, but seriously that back end is fugly and we can sit down with back end pics and put them side to side with the Trial pics to see what we think matches or flows with it.
I think the Trial kit is aggressive enough for your taste, but not over-bearing like the Veilside. What does the Veilside back look like? Maybe you can have the best of both worlds.
Oh and BTW maybe ND4SPD put ttt (to the top) cause he wanted to help you out and get peeps to look at your thread or maybe he also wanted more info about these kits. ???
luv ya girlie...

Alright.. so I think I'm going to get the TRIAL kit.. Does anyone know how much it is shipped to my door in Tucson, AZ?
Some of you think I should get the TRIAL kit with a different rear.. which one to replace it?

Yeah i'm a little late Lauren. Just found the thread =P dupid me...
anyways go for Trail Kit! the Rear isn't ugly imo... it seems you dont like the black/grey on the bottom then get it painted silver or true there aren't many curves, but it's clean and thats what matters.
Then again you could get the veilside rear bumper.
That wing needs to go. Tie Fighter should look nice.
Just get Trail you dont want to be the second Celica in Tucson with Veilside :) be the first with the Trail
Theres my .02 cents

I was planning on getting the Tie Fighter spoiler when I get my body kit.
For some reason, the more I look at the rear of the Trial Kit, It looks to me that the black part is like plastic. Do you think plastic would hold the paint?
Trial00GTS
02-25-2002, 12:03 PM
I think it's just the color that makes it look plastic.
as long as it's a smooth suface it will hold the paint

I hope so. I wonder how much the trial kit is? A lot. :(
What does the Sport M Spoiler look like? pics anyone?

it should hold the paint.
the stock rear bumper has that plastic part thats not painted but thats what the entire bumper looks like when its not painted.
they just dont paint it for some reason.
i think you should get the veilside rear.
its going to cost a lot for all this
