75 shot?

Would a 75 shot of NOS on a GT be too much? I'm running 50 right now, and I'm tempted to go to 75. I don't spray that often (maybe 5 times in a week), and I'm wondering if I'd be ok to go to a 75 shot.

i had thought about this too. I have seen many a gsr running that shot and never any problems. seeing as your engine is the same size...i don't know though. i wouldn't go over 50.

have you ran your car with the nitrous? how did you do? what brand do you use? what else did you get besides the basic kit? i am very interested in purchasing this soon.

I'm running a Venom nitrous kit. Computer controlled. Cuts out if you run too rich or lean. I'm very happy with it.

i only do 75 at the track with some 100 octane race fuel.first go to 60 hp for a while and then jump to 75 that'll be easier on the motor. BTW, what spark plugs are you using?

A shop called St. Andre's in Westminster, CA purchased and installed the kit for me. They did a great job. Shrink wrapped all the wiring. I was really impressed.

there is no NGKs in my town so i had to use auto lights with the same heat range as stock and gapped to 30.

Anybody used a NX kit? I am thinking about ordering one next month for my 2002 gts. What do you all think? What times do you think I can get with a 50 and 75 shot with an auto? Any other mods I need to do to make the **** safer or more reliable?

I'm using a NX kit. It's great. Absolutely nothing bad about the product + great custonmer service. #20923 came with everything I needed for the install.

just retard the timing some and 75 shot should be straight, if the GTS can handle 50 shot ok then GT should be able to handle at least 75 ok, cause the GT has more compatible comp. ratio

There is no known way to control the timing with the stock ECU.

Ive gona as much as a 100 shot when i had my GT but that was on a progressive controller and I ran thru about 6 15lb bottles with that shot.

a NOS kit is fine.. thats what I originally had and it worked great..

All I gots to say is **** N.O.S they don't have **** on NX. have seen too many people blow there **** on NOS. when I have seen alot of people run alot more of a shot on NX and not hurt a thing. Got a buddie that is running a 275 shot on a stock LT1 and doin 11.30's all day long...

the components are made differently.. Nx and NOS have different nozzles and what not
