I have a audi a4 2002. Its fwd and very slow. Should I sell my car and buy a used 2000 s2000. Or should I buy a celica gts again. Are there any honda s2000 forums????

If you can afford to lose the people/cargo hauling space, go for the S2K.

do you have the a4 with the 1.8t, or the v6? The 1.8t has some potential.. but you won't ever really put the power to the ground very well. That motor tends to make a lot of torque.

i have the 1.8t fwd. the s2k will be my daily driver. I had a celica once before and i miss it terribly. I really want a fast rwd car. Does anyone know of a s2k forum?

if you want fast...you can easily make your 1.8T faster than a N/A s2K very easily and cheaply...

More money/work than it's worth. Cheaply? Please elaborate. The A4 is a heavy car with a suspension designed for comfort...not performance. Nothing about that car was meant for speed.
Not to mention you'd have to be pushing 300 horsepower to the crank to even have enough power to keep up with the S2K.
Personally I'd get a 6 speed GTS and have fun with it. This is the last year for the Celica in the states.

get a used s4 for about 24k, and it'll be faster than the s2k and with the luxury to boot.
www.s2ki.com is my favorite board, aside from nc.org that is ;)

S2k with out A doubt. If you still like audi, shop for a S4:evil:

Go with the GT-S 6spd.....the S2K is wayyyyy too bland looking and in my opinion not really fun until your in high revs. Plus the celica gets better gas mileage for your daily drive :chuckles:

Aside the bland part (which I don't think it is) you could say the same thing about the GTS.

a chip upgrade and exhaust gets you in the 250/250 neighbourhood already.... the torque u get out of the 1.8T is simply amazing..... a 250/250 FWD A4 is more than enough to keep up/pass a stock s2k...torque owns the s2k in the case of a chipped A4

Consider where you live too. If there's any inclimate weather (snow, ice), you'll more than likely NOT want to have a lightweight RWD car as your only mode of transportation.

its not that light...its around the 3000lb range, and from personal experience, it does indeed suck in any snow/ice....
