How much increase is there in HP after installing INTAKE

I see many people installing Cold Air Intake System but no one really says how much of an increase in the Horsepower they experience or witness

So how much does HP increase?

Is there also an increase in the noise?

I think realistically 3hp-5hp at the most.

Usually around 5hp throughout the powerband, spiking up to about 10-15hp in certain parts. Here's a couple of dynos:

Injen CAI:

Either way, the power gain is really noticeable (especially in low end if you get AEM), and the CAI makes the car sound great, especially through tunnels! :drool:

i really don't feel much low end from my aem cai...oh wait..i have an auto :chuckles: i'd expected it to at least pick up some more at low end. Either it did pick it up some and i can't notice..or just didn't do squat :(

Well, if you add an AEM/Injen sticker to all of your windows and your license plate, you should get around 15-18 hp at the wheels...but thats all in theory :gap:

werd...i never installed those stickers..guess i'll do that today :gap: but yeah..i drove it around some..actually there is a lil pickup :thumbup:
