Change Color on auto shifter?

Does anyone know how to change the auto shifter color from green to say red?

It most likely uses LEDs just like the stereo and gauges. Just disassemble the housing (should be only screws and clips) and find the spot below the gear indicator panel that has the lights. If they're REALLY small , then they're the same as the stereo. If they're around the side of the head of a smaller screw, then they're the same as the gauges. Either way, I've heard both size LEDs are interchangeable, so if you've changed either your radio or gauge LEDs, just go back to the same place you got them and ask for a few more.

i have an auto and got red condoms to change the color....it is only one bulb and you can get it from someone in stricktly celica it was cheap...... and you can get condoms for the ac panel .....

what are you talking about 2001REDCELICAGTS i am not making fun of him........... if you take the AC panel and shifter boot out you can see 2 bulbs on the AC panel and 1 Bulb for the Shifter (PRND2L) stock ones have a green rubber on top of the bulb ( people call them Condoms) you take the stock green rubber off and put red covers on the bulb and you have red lighting.......... man some people in this board post comments before they even think what others are talking about......... and do a search this was covered alot of times............ if you want them there is a guy selling them at stricktly celica.....someone who lives at virginia beach

He wasn't talking to you..he was just saying that there's a thread about auto celicas and no one has been dissing them yet...he said noth ing about you doing it...calm down.

yeah Ive been around for a long time and I know how it goes. I dont care if I got an auto. I have nitrous big whoop havent lost to a celica yet. Don't live for speed anymore. Thanks for the help guys.
