Traded-in Celica...Need Help!

[CRF450R]

Hi everyone. I want to first start by saying i loved my celica, it was a 2000 gts 6spd. Funnest car ive ever driven, but i need something to haul my dirtbike to the track with, so i got a taco 4wd. Well i traded in the celica and they now want all the stock parts back, i have the stock intake, exhaust, and short shifter, but i cant find the stock springs, and thats what they want most. I there anyone who has the stock springs who would like to sell them to me, that would be greatly appreciated. If knowone has any i wonder how much david draper can get me new ones for.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

So you already have the tacoma and they have the celica, the trade is complete?

yes, trade is complete. they said they want me to bring in those parts but i did already sign the release of the celica. I was thinking, i could act stupid and say i dont know what their talking about or i dont have them, to bad so sad you already bought the car back as it was. What do you think, F35-JSF?

If there papers have been signed and everything is a done deal, you don't have to give them anything that didn't come with the car.

thats what i was thinking Calsoldier, since the papers where signed and done with. But i still want them just in case. I still have to go back to the dealership and return the second key w/remote.

Well F35-JSF, they told me they would give me the trade-in amount if i returned the stock parts, mainly the springs, i said "yeah i have them". They then said we'll give you this much for it then, and it was never discussed again when signing the release for it.

ohhhhh , ok.. that changes everything... CRF450R.. If you promised them the stock parts. I would try your best...If you can't find them all, so, you tried......But, you didn't sign anything or on paper you promise all the parts right??


I traded my modded 95 Accord coupe for my Celica back in 2000. The asked me for the stock part.s I told em" I don't have" I traded it with a Wings west body Kit, Lowered, and stock exhaust. heheh took the rims off etc....

Reason they ask is because they will try to "recondition" the Celica at the dealer and try to sell it a stock Celica. Otherwise, they will need to purchase "new, OEM" parts to make it back to stock. = Less profit for them.

Well you did conscent to giving the stock parts back. Hopefully you two never defined which ones and if all had to be returned. If not take what you have back and leave................ Don't discuss **** about any future returns.

I just dont want it to come back and bite me is the a$$ somehow.
I dont have a problem returning the parts, i ask for my aftermarket parts back and sell them......cheap!
