Hi all,

I want to install TRD springs (actually, they'll be Eibach or TTE as I'm in Europe) and I wonder how does the drop look. It's about 1.18 inches, right?

So, pleeease, see if you can post here pics or links to your Celicas with TRD springs, much better with no body kits to get an idea of the possible result.

BTW, about this pic here, would you say it has like a TRD drop or maybe more? Also, wheels are supposed to be 17", don't you think they look more like 18"?

Thanks in advance

Yeah it does...!!! I guess it has something more than TRD springs... (?)

And 17" wheels?

this is after my trd drop. I like it b/c it's not too low at that you would have to worry about scraping. The ride is good and you don't have to worry about getting new shocks(that's what TRD says) since it's about a 1.5" drop.

Really nice pic, thanks. A bit dark, though... you can't see the fender gap very well.

I'm still considering TRD drop or a bigger one...

Does it really make a difference between stock suspension and TRD when you see it in traffic?

here's another pic. I think it makes a difference when you see it on the road. I remember the 1rst time i saw the toyota mechanic drive it off the lift and around to where I was standing. I was like "that looks awesome!" It's all a matter of preference in how low you want to go. I worry enough about scraping now when i pull in my driveway and stuff and I don't have a kit! I'll take close up pics later since i just got my apc corners. I need to buy some film. well anyways, i hope this helps.

wow.... that's a nice background.... kinda like a picture that would show up in TRD magazine or something. it looks really nice... i guess the rims and drop match perfectly. it looks booooootiful... (im sick and if im not making any sense, now u know why.)

I just got my TRD springs today:), from David Draper. Only took one day to get:)! I've got 17" Monsoons. I think TRD is a good drop for me. Not too low, just right.

eh that looks pretty sweet to me. How much did the TRD's run you guys? And does the dealer have to install them in order for them to be covered under warranty?

hey VROOM-VROOM. yeah, those are TRD springs. When i got them first lowered It was a little lower than I expected.I think it looks good. I think toyota made the celica with high springs on purpose b/c they knew people would want to lower it. even just a little. good marketing I guess. To ZEROYON, I bought mine through westcovina for about 180$. I got lucky I didn't have to pay shipping b/c I ordered 3 days delivery and they accidently put UPS ground so they took the shipping charge off after I emailed them. But toyota robbed me with the install. I didn't want to travel a long distance to get them done so I just went with toyota. There was this one place that would of charged me $370 but I went with toyota in sarasota for $400 who said it wouldn't void my warranty if I went somewhere else, but the toyota dealership i bought my car at said it would void. It sucks, they're never consistent!arhhg!!!!
