What are the reasons to get an SAFC? How easy is it to use?

From what i understand, unless you know what you are doing. You can really fuk up your car, by running too much gas or too much air. I also dont think the hp gains are really that much. However, I dont have any experience with one.

Can I use that to save gas too? How much does it cost?

If I'm correct, the cost is about $350 or so for a SAFC. I heard this was good when you get a check light after installing a CAI.... and the HP is really small.... I really don;t know, I may be wrong

SAFC's are best when used with other systems, such as NOS, Superchargers, or Turbos. The SAFC is used to insure the fuel system doesn't run to lean, or rich under boost. They aren't designed to increase power independently from other mods, although some peep say you can get some xtra power using them. I've never heard of nyone using them to increase fuel mileage, and I don't believe they would. L8r
