MAN...what the hell...the Celica is a very NICE car...I can't believe the officer was being a pain in the azz? What was his name, I know alotta the HPD, maybe I can find out wh y he was being a tard. :(

Omg...you're exhaust is toast! Did she have insurance, I hope so, man..that sucks so much.

Good luck getting her back together...make sure you get a detailed inspection done, get everything checked out. You don't want problems popping up down the road.

Wow! What is it about the celica's lately? You get hit and I crack my winsheild! Since she hit you the insurance company should pay for it! That way they send you to a body shop and you don't have to pay a dime!

Yea go through insurance. it's always cheaper that way and you get things done most of the time. Taht sucks though. the same things happened to my car but it wasn't as bad. If you look hard at my rear bumper you can still see the license plate marks that the other car left.

the exhaust needs to go, the rear bumper lip replaced and if it's anything like my accident, you might have to get your exhaust system checked. it looks like it took it hard, and it might be banging agianst something.

Sorry to hear about this and I really hate it when cops act are real fvcktards to people like us. Especially your car since it was almost stock, but just because our cars are sports car they usually give us **** here.

Wait doesn't hawaii have that no fault insurance? I thought since you have to have that, your pretty much screwed if you do get hit? arn't you?

Also It just looks like the muffler looks bang up. No need to replace the whole exhaust. But your going to need to get it torched cut and find a replacement slip on for that. The shop wouldent charge much for that. It cost me only $50 for them to cut my strait pipe and weld my flowmaster onto my eclipse.

There's a place near Munkywurks that does good work. I'm not really sure what the name of the place is, but I know a few guys who went there for collision repair and their cars came out super nice. The owner of the shop drives this dope dark blue '69 (i think) camaro.

Shyt that sux. Go through insurance (hopefully yours won't go up) and get everything replaced. Agree with Taesup about checking your exhaust/engine because any hit against the tail pipe can affect something in the engine bay. Also check your alignment and charge it to the lady.
Sorry to hear about the officer being rude, it's an unfortunate thing these days...

no fault just means that the cops don't get involved in the processing of the insurance blah blah.. all they do is file a report and off you go. like if a person were to die then they'd have to get involved. but i've been in like over 5 accidents.. with my accord of course.. and of course it was always never my fault.. except one time =X they do pay.. it's always the other person's fault if they hit your rear bumper or rear part of your car. besides the insurance can't try to make me at fault .. i was braking at a yield.. and there was no excuse for her to be going that fast and being that close to me..

as for the exhaust.. i think i'm gonna replace the whole thing.. hehe why not if they're gonna pay for it : )

Thanks everyone for caring =) i called AIG and they're coming to my house tomorrow to appraise. i told him that it'll be hard for him to check under the car or how the trunk is b/c i won't be home b/c i have class. the guy said any additional damages the shop will call them and they'll give me more money =) i'm still in loss of a car tho =( good thing my uncle is driving my mom home from work so at least i can go to class. RS*R sounds good but i'll definately need a silencer hehe.

sorry to hear that Pam, main thing is that you are okay. The exhaust is gone, well you probably heard that 1 too many times already. Everything else is fixable.

Do you think the hit to the exhaust may have jolted your whole engine/drivetrain?

i'm not sure. that's what i'm thinking b/c she hit it pretty bad. and when the appraiser called me today i told him about that and told him that it'll be hard for him to see the real damages since i can't open the hood or the trunk then he can't get a good estimate. but he said as long as i bring it to the shop and have it all checked out then they'll pay for everything. hopefully my engine isn't damaged..
