I need some recommendations ASAP. Mike and I need to purchase an intercooler the size of the one that XS uses with their kit ASAP. Well, at least the 24" in width and something close to 11" in height.
I'm thinking it may be best to just purchase XS's unit. Anyone know where I could get one brand new and pick it up in Southern California? Or at least have it express shipped to Lancaster so it would arrive there by Saturday?
Help me!!!

Actually, I just need to buy a core the same size as the one used in the XS intercooler.
Someone point me in the right direction please.

whats going on, can you use mine for the time being? to get the measurements?
Don't buy the XS one, it's way ****ing expensive
Remember, it's not so much width and height in front, but thickness.
The XS is a tube and fin, so go on ebay and look for a 3" thick tube and fin intercooler.

Buy a Spearco FMIC core. They are like 500 bucks and have lifetime warranties even if raced.

Exactly.. Find yourself a spearco intercooler to the dimensions you prefer and youll be set. Dave Draper can get Spearcos as one offs so Id talk to him if I were you.

Thank you very much for all your recommendations. XS was ridiculously expensive, and I have found some better options. Additionally, installing the XS unit requires removing some critical front end support pieces from the vehicle. At least this is what I understand from Mike and from XS tech support (Reggie). As it stands right now, we're going to use the one that Mike standardly provides (check pics of RADR1732's vehicle to see what it looks like) with some modifications done to it.
I will look into purchasing a Spearco one down the road. Thanks for the recommendation to talk to DD about it.
Lastly, if any of you need an intercooler in a hurry, I found a great company to go through. At least I think they are great IMHO. The website is as follows:

They provide pretty much any size of intercooler core one could imagine, and are available in both bar and plate, or tube and fin style. The best part is that if it is ordered before 1:00 CST, it ships next day delivery as a standard option.

I dont know the size of the xs kitt, but we have 2 sizes. The big one covers the whole ac cooler and 5cm thick, the small one is vertically the half of the big. If you are intersted let me know.
This is mine(big one), the prototype. Now it has 60mm pipe in and out.

That's pretty much how mine is, after the modifications we made. The core looks to be the same size as yours, and we extended the tank size so it fills up pretty much the entire area in front of the radiator. And, oh yes, I still have my bumper support:thumbup:!!!
