Im Turtle TR. Lost my old 85 TRRRR
We were discussing race gas at the track. Just today, that subject ponderd me. It began with a topic on speedhawaii about what gas would be the best. I said race gas :naughty:, so I ponderd over what the gnttype was talking about one time at the track about using xylene. I know there have been "home brew" recipes for race gas but never really understood them. Since Octane booster got pricey...and they only raise octane by so much as 7pts. so...rougly 99 octane total when using 92 pump. just by using xylene, a paint thinner, you can go up as much as 117octane filled to the brim of your tank. as we all know...race gas is expensive. likely...this would be the ultimate alternative.
