There was a slightly darker color blue but it wasnt a metallic. Im kinda wishing i went with that one. But im still happy with them. Looks better in person.

I ono, the color paint is just too light. You should do it over with adarker blue.

It would've looked better painted black imo. Even if the color was perfectly matched to spec blue, the end result would not look as good as if were painted black.

If the color did match, the inside would almost look black so it would still have the same effect.

no it wouldn't.
why dont you just pick up some factory paint and paint them?
should cost like 20 bucks and will match.

I cooked them again and open them up. when i put them back together i used a butt load of sealer..I did use mica blue paint. the label is TS-50 there was a TS-51 but it wasnt metallic. however i think it would have matched better. oh well.

Wow both of your cars look great!
Smaay - I suggest since you have an XS turbo kit you start to work on the suspension. Go with the Tanabe Pro SS full coilovers for 799 in the GB section. After that your car would be fast on the street and track

one of our club members did it. think he's "carcontrol007" on here as well. at night they look a little darker than the car, but in the sun they match perfect. my poor lights have been torn apart so many times playing around with angel eye tests...poor things...:wtc:
