my subwoofers have come apart along the trim. so you can lift the edge now and see inside of it. can i just glue it back down?? or should i just buy new ones. they are old old old old rockford fosgate speakers that i have had sine 99.

<-- noob when it comes to speakers.

I would use some Black Silicon RTV to fix it. A strong but flexible adhesive. Make sure you give it 24 hours @ room temp to fully cure.

woohoo. i bought some loctite silicon based glue stuff and covered the edges and it sat for over 24 hours. put them in this morning and they sound like new. i just hope the heat doesnt affect it too much... as hot as it get in fl.
