View Full Version : Parts 1, 2 and 3 of 5: Interior Revamp *pix*
Done:
1. Black Gucci fabric replaced with ultra suede on the headliner, a pillars and sunvisors.
2. Carpet the trunk panels, line the top portions in suede
3. Install Recaros and weighted Razo shift knob.
Next:
4. Stitch dash, rear pillars, center top half of console, and shift boot in black Ultrasuede. Make a new trunk mat in black carpet, trimmed in black ultrasuede.
5. Touch up scratches in dyed interior.

nice....only think i want you to do is tighten your e-brake cable...lol...i can't stand how your e-brake is almost vertical...it would drive me nuts. it drives me nuts looking at it lol. nice seats ;)

"Remove the center console where the E- Brake handle is located. You'll see that the cable and two 10mm (I think thats the size) nuts that are attached. Tighten the nuts til you hear 5-8 clicks when you pull up on the hand break. That's it."

That's what i would use since speaker box's are in car trunks also
i used 3m trim adhesive. It's actually formulated just for that purpose. You let it dry for a minute so it's tacky on the on both the plastic and the carpeting, and then you apply the carpet. Pretty much like mangoboy7 was stating when doing speaker boxes.
