Under-estimated in Providence

Me and the Celica are fairly new to Providence, and being a blonde female I've been having a hard time finding guys who'll take me serious and not rip me off, please help.

If you're talking about speed shops, they're all going to be pretty shady.......only thing you can do in order to prevent getting ripped off, whether you're a blonde female, or anyone for that matter, is to know exactly what you want when you walk in the store.

Do you're homework, know exactly what you need...the right brand, etc, so the shop can't sell you something that's a piece of crap...

Call around to numerous shops and ask for pricing on whatever you're buying to get a general idea of what price you should expect when you walk into one of them...so when they see a blonde walk in, they can't take advantage of you by jackin up the price...and if they do...say fukk you, I'm going to ______ shop and buying from them.

That's all you can really do.............hope that helps.

Hanwei pretty much covered it. Your best option is to call around and get quotes on whatever it is you are planning to do. Begining your sentences like "I'm calling around to different places to get a quote on ______" is the best way to get good deals.

That is best practice whether you are a girl or a guy, because shops will compete for your business and give you a good deal. If they know you are looking around at other places, they'll pretty much go as low as they can. You'll want to make sure you get everything in writing before you hand them the car too.

Perhaps if you provide more information as to what you are trying to do, we can be of more help, or offer you ideas of what price ranges you should be looking in. Most of us are in Connecticut and Massachusetts, but there may be someone on the forum from Rhode Island that can offer you some suggestions of places that are decent. Good Luck!
