I've been noticing that when turning fast, it feels like I'm tripping over my tireslike the wheels are not turning fast enough.
I have a trd LSD. I feel this even when I'm not going into lift. on a turn.

Am I just being paranoid here or is there an explanation.

you're entering the turn too fast and the tires are scrubbing off speed. It's understeering naturally but with the LSD it's forcing it, dragging it's way around. just going too fast, slow it down a bit more before going into the turn.

if it's a wide radius turn and you're experiencing this then your front shocks may be set too hard.

is that considered going fast on a turn? I don't even hit lift.
As you know I have teins about 1 1/2 old. my shocks can't be bad already. Tein is a rqacing suspension. Others do hard cornering, sharp turns extremely rough at the track. how are they able to get away with it? is there a specific technique involved?

I noticed when I had a 90s stanza it would do the same thing. I assume it was the suspension.

kpsilverman,

Are you entering the corner on or off the gas?

In my experience, FWD cars with limited slips require a different driving technique. If you are off the gas in the corner, the LSD will often (depending on type, setup, etc. - Quaiffe's definitely do this) cause more understeer than a non-LSD equipped car.

To combat this, you need to get slowed down, then get back on the gas (lightly, to balance the car) to turn in properly. This allows the LSD to apportion power correctly. The other option is to trail brake into the corner to rotate the car and then transition back on the gas to pull through. You could always tune the car for more steady state oversteer too, but then you will need to be on the gas as often as possible when cornering to keep the rear end planted.
