you would be better off financially just buying the 1zz pistons from MWR, they are 499 i believe.

seriously though, the new block is from a rear ended car with 35k on it. It's basically like new, If you hot tank it, it should look like new. It sat at Eagle Machine for about 3 months waiting to be sleeved. This was before Darton offered a kit, so the sleeves were never installed. Eagle wanted to do R&D on the motor and I was very close to commiting, but the money was just unreal. They wanted $100/hr for all the work and in return I could keep the parts. Weighed out, this exchange wasn't even. I would've gotten all top end stuff and a sleeved block, but there's no telling how many hours of R&D would've been involved and now MWR has those parts readily available anyway...

well, this seems to be the deal.

i was informed by the buyer that he won't be able to pick up the car until next month. but all the turbo parts need to go now.

soooo, i'm thinking i'm keeping the celi and returning the car to stock. All I can say is that whoever buys the car is gonna have one STRONG ass motor.
